To prevent overheat or the like of an SMA actuator with simple and inexpensive constitution.

The lens driving device has a lens unit 2, a lever member 3 moving the unit 2 by receiving input of moving force F1, and the SMA actuator 4 giving the moving force F1 to the lever member 3. The arm portion 21 of the lever member 3 is set as an electrical conduction part composed of conductive material. The electrodes 24a and 24b of the actuator 4 are fixed in fixed members 26a and 26b having conductivity, and a terminal part 28 is provided in the respective fixed members 26a and 26b. When the lens unit 2 is displaced to a specified position, the edge parts 21a and 21a of the arm portion 21 contact with the terminal part 28. By such contact, the electrode 24a on a power supply side and the electrode 24b on a ground potential side of the actuator 4 are short-circuited through an arm portion 21 or the like.
