Abstract:
To provide a driving device for a vehicle capable of being easily miniaturized in a constitution including a decelerator and a parking lock mechanism.SOLUTION: A rotor 12 of a rotary electric machine 1 and a differential gear device 4 are coaxially disposed, and the rotor 12, a decelerator 3 and the differential gear device 4 are successively arranged from an axial first side L1 toward an axial second side L2. The differential gear device 4 includes a differential case 5, and a differential gear mechanism 6 housed in the differential case 5. A packing lock mechanism 7 includes a parking gear 71, and an engagement mechanism 72 selectively engaged with the parking gear 71 to restrict rotation of the parking gear 71. The parking gear 71 is connected to the differential case 5 to be rotated integrally therewith, and arranged to be overlapped with the differential case 5 in a radial view along a radial direction R and to be overlapped with the decelerator 3 in an axial view along an axial direction L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
