Abstract:
To make it possible to appropriately support drive operation when performing, for example, a right turn at an intersection.SOLUTION: A drive support device includes: image recognition means for acquiring an image of a traffic signal for an oncoming lane from a rear imaging device for imaging the rear of a vehicle and recognizing a display state of the traffic signal for the oncoming lane based on the image of the traffic signal for the oncoming lane when the vehicle is in a standby state for turning across the oncoming lane at an intersection; determination means for determining whether or not the operation to turn across the oncoming lane can be performed based on the display state of the traffic signal for the oncoming lane recognized in the standby state; and information presentation means for presenting information corresponding to determination results to a driver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
