Abstract:
To provide a driving support device which can avoid an accident or the like which is possibly received from the other vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving support device includes: peripheral situation information acquisition devices 21 and 22 which recognize a peripheral situation of an own vehicle M and acquire peripheral situation information; an other vehicle situation determination device 26 which determines a relative vehicle speed or behavior to the own vehicle by the peripheral other vehicle on the basis of the peripheral situation information acquired by the peripheral situation information acquisition device; and a travel control device 26 which determines and executes travel control of the own vehicle on the basis of a determination result of the other vehicle situation determination device. When a vehicle group including at least two other vehicles which continues traveling at the relatively lower vehicle speed or higher vehicle speed than the own vehicle and the peripheral other vehicle or continues traveling accompanying abnormal behaviors is recognized during at least the lapse of a prescribed period of time or the movement by a prescribed distance, the travel control device executes travel control to separate the own vehicle from the vehicle group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
