To provide a driving voltage supply device for controlling the supply of driving voltage to an electric load while considering heat generation of the device when power supply voltage falls greatly for a time.
The driving voltage supply device 10 includes a booster circuit 16 and a control device 18. The booster circuit 16 receives power supply voltage Bv from power supply voltage B and boosts the power supply voltage BV when the power supply voltage BV falls lower than a predetermined minimum voltage Vmin, and supplies load driving voltage VDL composed of the boosted voltage, to the electric load 20 requiring backup to the voltage drop. When determining the lapse of predetermined time of the voltage boosting operation of the power supply voltage BV by the booster circuit 16, the control device 18 sets a voltage boosting operation inhibiting signal INH outputted to the booster circuit 16 to an H-level and stops the voltage boosting operation of the booster circuit 16.
