Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device capable of appropriately correcting discharge positions of droplets according to positional accuracy in relative movement of a discharge head and a work-piece in a scanning direction, and a droplet discharge position correction method.SOLUTION: Correction data generated on the basis of an actual movement distance in relative movement of a stage are stored in a head driver 63 of a droplet discharge device 10. Correction of discharge positions correcting a first count number of encoder pulses obtained by the relative movement of the stage in a scan to a second count number on the basis of the correction data is performed. The head driver 63 generates discharge pulses on the basis of the correction of the discharge positions with respect to discharge position data input and causes droplets D to be discharged from nozzles of an ink jet head 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
