Abstract:
To provide a drum brake structure suitable for preventing inconvenience due to deposits onto a wheel inner peripheral surface, in which an electric actuator for electric parking brake is provided in such a posture as to project to the radially outer side of a drum brake.SOLUTION: In a drum brake structure A10 provided on a back plate 11 of a drum brake 1 with an electric actuator 2 for electric parking brake projecting to the radially outer side of the drum brake 1, a protective member 3 attached to a stationary member of the drum brake 1 is arranged in an annular space S1 between a virtual space around an axle 5 passing through a tip part 2a farthest from the axle in the electric actuator 2 and a wheel inner peripheral surface 40a facing the tip part 2a of the electric actuator 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
