Abstract:
To provide a drum dryer which is easy to control a temperature and has a simple structure.SOLUTION: The drum dryer includes a hollow drum 1 of which a peripheral wall is structured of a conductive material, a non-rotary shaft 2 which is arranged along an axial center of the drum 1 and rotatably supports the drum 1 around the axial center, drum rotation driving means 85 which drives and rotates the drum 1, and an induction heating coil 4 which is arranged in the drum 1 and is fixed to the non-rotary shaft 2 in an opposite state to a drum inner peripheral surface. A liquid raw material M supplied to an outer circumferential surface of the drum 1 is heated and dried by rotating the drum 1 by the drum rotation driving means 85 while induction-heating the drum 1 by energizing the induction heating coil 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
