Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the shaft direction of a drum compact and to improve rotational accuracy by providing a driving motor and a planetary roller type reduction gear in the drum which can rotate centered around a fixed shaft and transmitting the driving of the motor to the drum.
CONSTITUTION: The drum A is rotatably supported to the fixed shaft 14 by the shaft part 12a of an end plate 12 and the shaft part 13a of an end plate 13. The driving motor C is housed inside a housing Band a stator 18 is fixed on the shaft part of the front end plate 16, and an outer rotor 19 is rotatably supported by the housing B, and a cylindrical shaft 20 is an input shaft to the reduction gear D and its tip forms a sun roller 25. The reduction gear D is provided adjacently to the driving motor C inside the housing B, and is the planetary roller type reduction gear consisting of plural planetary rollers 24 and the sun roller 25. Thus, the length in the shaft direction of a drum driving mechanism is made minimum, and the friction transmission of the planetary roller type whose speed reducing output side roller is directly connected to the drum is used, so that the driving of the drum where power is smoothly transmitted and rotational accuracy is high is realized.
