At the time of high-speed dehydration rotation, by a change amount corresponding to an eccentric amount, the rotation speed is made to fluctuate in synchronism with the rotation of the drum 5 corresponding to the angle position of an eccentric load. Since an outer tank 2 is swung to left and right by the fluctuation of the rotation speed, when the phase of speed change is controlled so as make the swing be in a direction exactly opposite to the swing of the outer tank 2 by the eccentric load, both cancel each other and the vibration of the outer tank 2 is suppressed. Thus, since the allowable value of the eccentric amount at the time of starting the high-speed dehydration rotation is mitigated, the balance is more easily adjusted.
