Title:
DRY FORMING METHOD OF FIBER CONTAINING POTENTIAL SUPERCONDUCTIVE MATERIAL AND TWO-COMPONENT SYSTEM FIBER CONTAINING POTENTIAL SUPERCONDUCTIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3731919
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a manufacture of a fiber containing a potential superconductive material by dry forming, comprising the steps of: arranging a prescribed suspension and a solution of fiber-formable polymer as a two-component configuration, extruding a fiber as a two-component filament, and removing the solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A core suspension of a potentially superconductive powder which is made dense and viscous is prepared, stored in a container 10 which is temperature controlled with a heater jacket 12, and filtered by passing it through a fiber forming duct 16 and a filtration equipment 17. Further, a fiber-formable sheath material, such as a dissolved polymer, is stored in a container 18, a polymer solution is supplied to a fiber-forming pack 24 by applying a pressure with a fiber-forming pump 22. And the suspension and the polymer solution are arranged in a two-component configuration. Then, after a fiber is extruded through the pack 24, fiber-forming solvent is removed. Through this process, a two-component system fiber containing a potentially superconductive material is obtained and this fiber contains a first component of a fiber-formable synthesized polymer dispersed uniformly in a matrix and a second component of a potentially superconductive material.
