Abstract:
To improve workability of drying work in a drying device and a method of radioactive material storage container.SOLUTION: A drying device of a radioactive material storage container comprises: an exhaust line for discharging gas inside the radioactive material storage container; a dry vacuum pump provided in the exhaust line; a first inert gas supply line for supplying first inert gas inside the radioactive material storage container; and a second inert gas supply line for supplying second inert gas having a molecular weight larger than that of the first inert gas to a predetermined area where suction pressure of the dry vacuum pump acts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
