Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of a drum by constituting the drum of a drum trunk part and a drum back body and forming integrally a bearing part with a smaller diameter than that for the trunk part at the front part of the drum trunk part.
SOLUTION: A drum 3 is constituted of a drum trunk part 3-1 on the front part of which a bearing part 3-8 is integrally formed and a drum back body 3-2 fixed on the back part by clamping the outer periphery. The bearing part 3-8 has a smaller diameter than that of the drum trunk part 3-1 and a step part is formed between the drum trunk part 3-1 and the bearing part 3-8 to improve the strength. In addition, the strength can be also improved by adding a reinforcing rib 3-6. A baffle 3-5 is protruded in the drum 3 to improve agitation efficiency of clothings. A fan casing and a fan are arranged on the back of a drum vent hole of the drum. It is possible by this constitution to decrease the number of parts, to decrease manufacturing man-hour and to improve productivity.
