Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a higher display performance while having a continuity inspecting function.
SOLUTION: A probe pin 20 with an optical fiber is provided on connector holders 11 and 12 for holding connectors C1 and C2 to which a wire of a wire assembly in an assembling process should be connected. The probe pin 20 with the optical fiber is preferably provided with a sleeve 21, a hollow contact 23 protrusively arranged at an end part of the sleeve 21 to be elastically advanced or retracted, and an optical fiber 26 fixed on the sleeve so as to allow relative displacement with the contact 23. As a result, the probe pin 20 with the optical fiber makes illumination and conduction compatible. The optical fiber 26 is relatively linked to the contact 23 to keep a connection immovable, thereby hindering probable loading.
