To provide a dust collector which is almost free from an influence to be caused upon a dust collection amount by an operating force.

A nozzle part 11 has a handle 111, a grip 112, a nozzle 113 for dust absorption and a shutter 114 for ventilation. In addition, a filter part 12 consists of a filter 121 of a freely rotatable structure and a miniature motor 122 for rotating to drive the filter 121. A dust accumulation part 13 is constituted of a tilted part 131, a dust accumulating chamber 132 and a shutter 133. The tilted part 131 has a flat plate forming a tilt against dust falling from the filter part 12. This tilt guides dust naturally or forcibly to the dust accumulating chamber 132 from the filter part 12. In addition, the shutter 133 for ventilation between the tilted part 131 and the dust accumulation part 132 is constituted in a partition part between both parts 131, 132. Consequently, collected dust resists an air stream through the filter part, so that a dust collecting power hardly becomes deteriorated.
