To provide a dust-preventive cap mounted to the upper pestle of a rotary press, in which the elastic deformation of a horizontal annular flange is suppressed, and a risk in which the horizontal annular flange comes off from the fitting groove of the upper pestle is eliminated.
The dust preventive cap 1 is made of a resin in which a bellows part 11 expanding/contracting along the extending direction of the upper pestle 2 and a mounting part 12 engaged with the fitting groove 21 of the upper pestle 2 are integrally molded, wherein the mounting part 12 is composed of a bottom face 121 with the mountain-like bent periphery 113 at the lowest step of the bellows part 11 as the outer circumference, the horizontal annular flange 122 formed so as to be opened at the bottom face 121, and a vertical annular flange 123 formed so as to surround the horizontal annular flange 122, the horizontal annular flange 122 is fitted into the fitting groove 21 of the upper pestle 2, and the vertical annular flange 123 is made to follow the body part 22 of the upper pestle 2 continuous with the fitting groove 21.
