Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce quantity of dust stuck onto a rotary blade of an LD gas blower and besides, to improve corrosivity of piping at an outlet side of the LD gas blower.SOLUTION: A method for controlling an amount of dust removal water for an LD gas blower is characterized in that, when controlling an amount of the spray water of dust removal water sprayed into an LD gas supplied from a gas holder 12 to an LD gas blower 15 for supplying the LD gas to each facility, change over time of concentration of dust contained in the LD gas supplied from the gas holder 12 to the LD gas blower 15 is monitored using a dust monitor 19, and based on the change over time of the observed dust concentration, the amount of the spray water of the dust removal water is controlled.
