Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by achieving commonality of a zoom setting between a television receiver and a DVD device.
SOLUTION: In a DVD device-integrated television receiver in which a microcomputer 11 on a television side having a zoom function and a microcomputer 21 on a DVD side having a zoom function are connected so as to enable a bidirectional communication, a zoom mode on the television side is preferentially used to make the zoom function common as for a common zoom mode, and the microcomputer 11 on the television side acquires zoom mode information on the DVD side from the microcomputer 21 on the DVD side when the DVD side is switched over to the television side. When the zoom mode information acquired is a zoom mode which is made common, the zoom mode information is reflected to perform the zoom setting on the television side. On the other hand, when the zoom mode information acquired is a mode specific for the DVD, and is not made common, the information is treated as invalid information.
