Abstract:
To provide a dye sensitized solar cell and a method for manufacturing the dye sensitized solar cell.
The dye sensitized solar cell comprises: a first electrode 110; a second electrode 210 separated from and opposing to the first electrode; and an electrolyte solution 302 filled between the first and second electrodes. The first electrode includes a first nanoparticle oxide thin film 104 on which a dye containing a compound represented by the following structural formula 1 is adsorbed. (In the structural formula 1, R1-R4 independently represent an ammonium ion or a phosphonium ion, and R2 and R3 independently represent a hydrogen ion.)
