Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a semiconductor-containing layer which can attain superior photoelectric conversion efficiency and durability for a dye-sensitized solar cell and a dye-sensitized solar cell.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a dye-sensitized solar cell that comprises: a first conductive support having a semiconductor-containing layer sensitized by a dye; a second conductive support having a counter electrode; a charge transfer layer; and a sealant provided in a peripheral part of the first and second conductive supports so as to seal the charge transfer layer, the semiconductor-containing layer of the first conductive support being manufactured by dye adsorption with a dye solution containing a compound shown by the following formula (1) as some component or by dipping in the solution containing compound shown by the formula (1) as some component after the dye adsorption with the dye solution.SELECTED DRAWING: None
