Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyamide fiber having a high color fastness to a high temperature and a UV rays.
CONSTITUTION: A method of dyeing a polyamide fiber in dyeing a polyamide fiber containing a copper complex with a dye containing a gold complex or an acid dye, which is characterized by initiating the dyeing from an alkaline side using a slide type pH adjusting agent, and making pH of the final dyeing liquid as pH 6-7. And a dyed polyamide fiber obtained by the above method is characterized by having 40-1000ppm of the copper complex as measured by the weight of copper, a remaining ratio of the copper content to that of before dyeing of 50% or more, and a light fastness (JIS-B-7751 method, 83°C×200hrs. irradiation) of class 3 or higher.
