Mounting plates 57 and 58 are arranged facing each other at lower parts of first leg parts 20 and 21 composing a frame 12. An arm 54 is fixed on a load resistance generator 53 of a resistance applicator 13. A fixing member 56 rotatably supporting the arm 54 is fixed on the mounting plate 57. A rotary drive wheel 55 disposed on the arm 54 is provided with a pulley 70 and a transmission wheel 71 integrally rotating therewith. The transmission wheel 71 is pressed onto a rim side of a bicycle by an energizing force of a coil spring provided between the fixing member 56 and the arm 54. A load resistance generated by the load resistance generator 53 is transmitted to the rear wheel of the bicycle through a belt 73, the pulley 70 and the transmission wheel 71.
