The rotor core 14 comprises a plurality of split rotor cores 32a, 32b, and 32c which are connected with one another in circumferential direction, and it is equipped with a plurality of first longitudinal ribs 42 and first longitudinal grooves 52 at its internal perimeter. The fellow split rotor cores 32a, 32b, and 32c are joined, with their second ribs 44 and second grooves 46 engaged with one another. A boss part 15 is made by casting aluminum being non-magnetic material, and is coupled with the first longitudinal ribs 42 and the first longitudinal grooves 52. The first longitudinal ribs 42 are made, with their inward tips being wide.
