Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid reception of troublesome mail (spam mail) whose destination is mobile terminals and facilitate the management of electronic mail. SOLUTION: This invention provides the management method for electronic mail addressed to mobile terminals that provides a mail management apparatus connected to a mail center in an electronic mail system for a mobile phone service enterprise. The mail management apparatus receives and stores electronic mail stored in a mail center on behalf of a user of each mobile terminal registered in the mail management apparatus and creates a mail list by each mail address with respect to the mail center. Succeedingly when the mobile terminal accesses the mail management apparatus, the mail management apparatus transmits the mail list corresponding to the mail address of the mobile terminal to the mobile terminal, accepts selection and processing contents of the electronic mail being a processing object and manages the electronic mail on the basis of the mail list display file and the electronic mail stored in the apparatus in response to a request from the mobile terminal.
