To provide an ear tag for animal with improved workability in integrating a male member with a female member.
The male member 2 comprises a flange 21 locked on an ear of the animal, a hollow axis 22 vertically installed on the flange 21, and a head 23 installed on the top of the axis 22. The head 23 comprises a locking part 24 having a locking face 24a, and a sharp edge 25 composed of metal and integrated with the locking part 24. The female member 3 comprises a body 31 formed as a bottomed cylindrical form with a storage space 34 for storing the head 23 of the male member 2, and a base plate storage part 32 installed on the outer periphery of the body 31 and storing a tag base plate 36 locked on the ear of the animal. An opening 33 is installed on the lower end of the body 31, and slot 33a or 33f is installed on the inside periphery of the opening 33 as the six liquid discharge pass. An inner flange 35 is installed on the fringe of the storage space 34 side of the opening 33, for locking the locking face 24a of the male member 2.
