To provide earthquake-resisting reinforcing technique to an existing RC.SRC column, by which reinforcing works can be conducted simply by a smaller work space and in which the workability of the reinforcing works is improved and workhour requirement needed for construction works is shortened and a constraint applied to a space user is reduced while the effect of polution, etc., to a periphery is also decreased.
In the earthquake-resisting reinforcing method, the sections of the cover concrete sections 2 of the existing RC.SRC column 1 are removed, and reinforcing materials such as hoops 3 are annexed around the cover concrete sections 2 and the cover concrete sections 2 are reinforced. Lightweight divided form units 6 formed in similar figures the same as or slightly larger than shapes, in which the external shape of the existing RC.SRC column 1 is divided beforehand into two in the vertical direction in a factory, etc., are piled up in specified height under the state, in which the units 6 are abutted from both sides, at a resular interval to the reinforicng materials at the same time. Accordingly, a specified cover concrete space 13 is formed around the reinforcing material, and a proper hardening material is infected into the cover concrete space and cover concrete is formed while the external section of the column is formed of the piled-up divided form units 6.
