Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make sure the starting of a spindle motor by providing a means for controlling the supply of electricity to a motor by a signal detecting a rotative driving condition and a means for controlling the supply of electricity to the motor depending on wether it is a normal rotation or not.
CONSTITUTION: The starting of the device is identified by a controller 15 when an FG signal is inputted during the period from the start of supplying electricity to a sensorless spindle motor 12 to first scheduled time, a power controlling section 16 is controlled and the supplying of power to the motor is continued. When no FG signal is inputted, it is identified to be abnormal and the supplying of power to the motor is cut. Further, a normal rotation is reached during the period from the start of supplying power to second scheduled time set longer than the first scheduled time, it is identified to be normal and the supplying of power to the motor is continued. Then, when no normal rotation is reached within the second scheduled time, the starting of the motor 12 is repeated several times and when no normal rotation is reached even by this, the supplying of power to the motor is cut. Thus, the motor 12 is surely started and when it is abnormal, the supplying of power to the motor is cut.
