Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a learning speed and learning accuracy without deteriorating the sound quality of an output signal.
SOLUTION: An input signal digitized by an A/D converter 20 is sampled and inputted to a whitening filter 18 as a reference input signal X and a false whitened signal X1 of which frequency deviation is reduced is obtained from the signal X. The signal X1 is applied to a product sum operation part 24 and a coefficient updating part 26 through a reference input signal buffer 22. The product sum operation part 24 calculates a false echo signal Y based on the signal X1 and an adaptive filter coefficient in an adaptive filter 28 and a subtractor 30 subtracts the signal Y from an echo signal (y) to obtain a removal error signal (e). The updating part 26 updates the adaptive filter coefficient based on the signal (e), the adaptive filter coefficient and the signal X1. Since learning is executed by using the signal X1 reducing its frequency deviation, a learning speed and learning accuracy are improved. Since the signal X1 is obtained based on the signal X, the sound quality of an output signal is not deteriorated.
