PURPOSE: To impart a desirable flavor in the seed of an oil stuff to an edible oil, by incorporating the seed of the oil stuff to the edible oil.
CONSTITUTION: The seed of an oil stuff, e.g. a sesame, olive or peanut, having a good flavor is incorporated into an edible oil, e.g. soybean, rapeseed, safflower, sunflower or sesame oil. The seed of the oil stuff may be as it is, a sliced or ground one. The amount of the seed to be added is preferably 3W20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. the edible oil. The edible oil has an appearance wherein the seed of the oil stuff suspends, floats or settles in the edible oil by the difference in specific gravity, and the seed and the edible oil can be used together or separately for food to improve the flavor of a dish.
