Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and inexpensively transfer sediment invading dam reservoir effective capacity to a dead water region.SOLUTION: A sediment transfer facility 10 is constituted of a sand storage dam 11 for capturing gravel (including drift wood) of a predetermined particle size or more included in flowing water 6 on the dam reservoir upstream side 2, a separating dam 14 for separating the flowing water into a sediment transport pipe for transporting the flowing water including the sediment by damming up passing flowing water 13 and the sediment of the sand storage dam 11 supplied via a predetermined conduit 12 on the dam reservoir just upstream side 3, a sediment transport pipe 17 for guiding the passing flowing water 13 and the sediment dammed up by the separating dam 14 up to a water surface 7 on the dead water region 4 in a dam reservoir 1 via a take port 16 provided in a dam body 15 of the separating dam 14 and a silt fence 19 for surrounding a sheath pipe and its periphery for covering a discharge port 18 of the sediment transport pipe 17 positioned on the water surface 7 on the dead water region 4.
