Abstract:
To provide an effluent treatment method permitting a broad applicable effluent pH range during a metal processing effluent flocculating process and using an inorganic coagulant capable of conserving the quantity of an alkali used and of reducing the volume of a sludge.
The provided effluent treatment method targeting metal processing effluents uses, during a flocculating process of adding at least an inorganic coagulant to a metal processing effluent, a basic ferric chloride as the inorganic coagulant.
