Title:
EFM SIGNAL SENDING-OUT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3634912
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an EFM signal fast and accurately by providing a dual-port memory which stores a subcode.
SOLUTION: An oscillator 11 outputs a pulse train as the basic clock of the EFM signal and a data generating device 12 outputs main data in the timing of the pulse train from the oscillator 11. A CPU 13 generates a subcode which is already operated according to subcode generation information and outputs it to the dual-port memory 15 of a storage means, and the dual-port memory 15 stores this subcode and outputs the corresponding subcode to an EFM generating circuit 14 in the timing of the pulse train from the oscillator 11. The EFM generating circuit 14 generates the EFM signal from the main data from the data reproducing device 12 and the subcode generated by the CPU 14. Consequently, since the CPU 13 need not operate the subcode at the time of the EFM signal generation, the EFM signal can be outputted fast and accurately.
