Abstract:
To restrain occurrence of a crack in an inlet side end plate.SOLUTION: An EGR cooler 1 comprises: a housing 2; a plurality of gas pipes 3 arranged in the housing, and through which EGR gas G flows; an inlet side end plate 4 fixed to inlet side end parts 3A of the plurality of gas pipes and an inlet side end part 2A of the housing, and partitioning a water chamber 6 through which cooling water W flows; and an inlet side flange 7 fixed to the inlet side end part of the housing. The inlet side flange comprises a flange surface 25, a plurality of bolt holes, and a lightened part 30 formed in a surface 28 on the side opposite to the flange surface, at a position between the plurality of bolt holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
