To provide an ejection amount control spray holder which sequentially and automatically inject or apply a machining solution to a plurality of machining holes of a workpiece by controlling the ejection amount at every hole.

The spray holder is formed of a spray cylinder 11, a shank 2 detachably mounted on a main shaft S of a machine tool, a housing 18 having a rotation stop block 30 arranged on the periphery thereof, for being detachably mounted on a fixed block B of the machine tool, a cylinder case 5 housing therein the spray cylinder 11, a nozzle case 6 arranged on the spray cylinder 11 at a location closer to a nozzle mechanism 8, for allowing the spray cylinder 11 to be pressed thereto, and a clutch mechanism arranged between the shank 2 and the housing 18, and inhibiting the spray cylinder 11 from being pressed to the nozzle case 6 when the shank 2 rotates forward, but allowing the spray cylinder 11 to be continuously pressed to the nozzle case 6 when the shank rotates backward. According to the spray holder, the ejection amount is controlled depending on a period from the time the main shaft starts backward rotation to the time the backward rotation is switched to forward rotation.
