Abstract:
To provide an ejector and a vacuum generation device that can reduce an installation space for a switching valve, the ejector, and piping, and reduce a labor burden of assembly work.SOLUTION: An ejector 20 comprises: an ejector body 21 comprising an internal flow passage 27; and a negative pressure generation mechanism 22 comprising a nozzle part 23 for injecting compressed air, and a diffuser part 24 for generating a negative pressure by the compressed air from the nozzle part. The ejector body comprises a first fitting surface 20a fixedly fitted with a valve body 41 of a switching valve 40, and a second fitting surface 20b fixedly fitted with a base body 18 of a manifold base 10. The first fitting surface comprises a first inflow port 28a to which a first output port A of the switching valve is connected, for supplying the compressed air to the negative pressure generation mechanism. The first inflow port communicates with the nozzle part through a supply flow passage 28. The second fitting surface comprises a negative pressure supply port 29c to which a negative pressure input port of the manifold base is connected, for outputting the negative pressure to the outside. The negative pressure supply port communicates with the diffuser part through a negative pressure communication flow passage 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
