Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mountability of an ejector with a gas-liquid separation function without causing deterioration of the gas-liquid separation performance.SOLUTION: In the body inside of an ejector, there are formed a gas-liquid separation space 30f for separating a refrigerant flowing out from a diffuser passage into gas and liquid, and a liquid-phase refrigerant outflow passage 39a for leading the liquid-phase refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separation space 30f to a liquid-phase refrigerant outlet. Further, the liquid-phase refrigerant outflow passage 39a is provided with an enlarged part 39b in which the passage sectional area is gradually increased toward the downstream side of a refrigerant flow. With this, a flow velocity of the liquid-phase refrigerant flowing in the liquid-phase refrigerant outflow passage 39a can be reduced, and therefore, even when the flow direction of the liquid-phase refrigerant is suddenly turned, the flow of the liquid-phase refrigerant flowing in the liquid-phase refrigerant outflow passage 39a is prevented from being largely disturbed. Accordingly, the degree of freedom in arranging the liquid-phase refrigerant outlet is improved and the mountability of the ejector can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
