Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent seizure or performance deterioration of a compressor caused by sealing of oil into an evaporator of a switchable showcase, in a case where an electromagnetic valve is provided on a refrigerant downstream side of the evaporator.SOLUTION: A showcase 2A is a switchable showcase capable of switching between a cooling mode of cooling an exhibition room, and a non-cooling mode of not cooling the exhibition room and/or a heating mode of heating the exhibition room with an electric heater 63. A controller 57 of the showcase 2A controls valve opening of a low-step side expansion valve 34 in the cooling mode to open/close an electromagnetic valve 37, and fully closes the low-step side expansion valve 34 in the non-cooling mode and/or heating mode to open the electromagnetic valve 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
