Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elastic knit fabric giving visual stimulation such as active feeling, steric feeling and visual appeal to other person according to the extent of stretch and the change in the stretching extent.
SOLUTION: This elastic knit fabric 3 is produced by the alternate knitting of an elastic yarn 1 and a nonelastic yarn 2. The elastic yarn 1 is colored, the nonelastic yarn 2 has a color different from the elastic yarn 1, both elastic yarn 1 and nonelastic yarn 2 have sinker loops 11, 12, all the sinker loops 11 of the elastic yarn cross the sinker loop 12 of the nonelastic yarn, the elastic yarn 1 is embedded under the nonelastic yarn 2 when the elastic knit fabric 3 is in relaxed state and the elastic yarn 1 is exposed to the surface when the knit fabric 3 is in stretched state.
