To provide a small size light weight efficient electric blower for a vacuum cleaner and obtain a small size efficient vacuum cleaner.
The electric blower for the vacuum cleaner 11 is composed of an impeller including a mixed flow type blade 22 having the outer circumference end of the lower end long side of the blade 22 which is a quadrilateral curved surface inclined in relation to a rotation surface and having a suction air flow flowing in from an inlet of the impeller 14 in an axial direction and flowing along the blade 2 flow out from an outlet at angles between a radial direction and the axial direction, an air guide 16 arranged on the downstream side of the impeller 14 and a electric motor 13 having the impeller 14 fixed on the shaft end and driving and rotating the same. Consequently, the small size light weight efficient electric blower can be provided and the small size efficient vacuum cleaner can be obtained.
