To provide an electric cleaner and a suction port body therefor with which a cleaning style can be varied and a configuration for feeding power to a driving means is simplified.

A communicating pipe part 52 is formed by providing a communication turning part 54 expanded in the shape of trumpet at one end of an almost cylindrical part 53 bending at the one end side. A communicating pipe 50 is constituted by providing a joint part 51 with which a rotary shaft 63 coaxially provided on the communication turning part 54 is supported so as to vertically move the other end side of the communicating pipe part 52. The joint part 51 is equipped with a cylindrical part 68 freely rotatably fitted to a connecting pipe part communicated to the suction chamber of a case body, and the communicating pipe 50 is supported so as to be freely turned selectively at the positions of axial direction along with longitudinal direction and with lengthwise direction. A ring-shaped contact 77 for a connection to a lead wire 80 arranged on the communicating pipe 50 in contact with a terminal part, which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the connecting pipe part while being connected to the electric motor of the case body, is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 68. Even when the cleaning style is varied by turning the communicating pipe 50, the lead wire 80 is not entangled.
