Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector preventing a slant insertion.
SOLUTION: An insertion-coupling convex section 12 having a perimeter face of a square pipe like shape for plugging-in to a plug acceptance section 24 of a mating connector 20 is formed in the electric connector. Projections 15 are formed at least in a front edge portion in a plug-in direction at the perimeter face of the square pipe like shape. Moreover, a projection 15 is formed on at least one side of a pair of opposite sides of a longer side of the perimeter face in the direction of the circumference, at the both ends of the above circumference direction or at its vicinity. The projection is enabled to advance in the above plug-in direction to a corresponding groove part 28 of the mating connector.
