Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge machining device in which the deterioration of the mirror surface property of the machining surface owing to the reduction of the powder mixing concentration is prevented, so as to obtain a desired mirror surface, by detecting the reduction of the powder mixing concentration in a working liquid automatically, and changing the feeding of the powder substance and the machining condition when the reduction of the powder mixing concentration is detected.
SOLUTION: The work finishing position at the K-1 stage detected by a work finishing detecting device 31, and the work starting position at the K stage detected by a work starting position detecting device 30, are compared by a machining position comparing device 32, and when the difference is less than a specific value, a signal is fed to a machining condition converting device 33 and a powder control valve 35, and the machining is carried out by feeding a powder substance in a working liquid, as well as the machining condition is changed.
