Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable to automatically control or eliminate the electric charge of a treated article such as a plastic film or a paper sheet by utilizing an electric discharge electrode for the discharge treatment without requiring a direct current electric charge device or an electric charge-eliminating device.
CONSTITUTION: The electric charge potential of an insulating base material 1 passed through a treating site using a discharge electrode 4 is measured with an electric potential sensor 17, and an electric current voltage corresponding to the measured electric potential is outputted from a direct current source 13. The outputted electric potential is overlapped on a high-frequency high electric potential outputted from an electric frequency electric source 12 and subsequently applied to the electric discharge electrode 4 to electrically control or eliminate the electric charge of the insulating base material.
