Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately perform coating work and to make coating almost uniform while improving the close adhesiveness thereof by roughening the outer surface of a pipe at high temp. and subsequently coating the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe at high temp. at the same time.
SOLUTION: A pipe 5 is held on both inner surface sides thereof by the holding pieces 10, 11 provided to both trucks 7, 8 to be moved to the inlet of a heating furnace 18 and passed through the heating furnace 18 to be heated. Next, the heated pipe is passed through a grinder 19 to grind the outer surfaces of the pipe and the ground pipe is passed through a heating furnace 21 to be raised in temp. and the heated pipe is passed through a coating apparatus 22 to coat the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe at the same time. The coated pipes are cooled by a cooling device 23 and removed from both trucks. The pipe is held on both sides thereof by both trucks 7, 8 from the setting of the pipe to the removal thereof while moved on one straight line.
