Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer that can temporarily fix an electric fusion joint to a resin even in a narrow space.SOLUTION: A retainer 30 temporarily fixes an electric fusion joint 10 and a resin pipe 20 so as to surround them in a state where the end part of the resin pipe 20 is inserted into a socket 11 of the end part of the electric fusion joint 10. The retainer 30 comprises: first and second holding members 31 and 32 located at both ends in a circumferential direction; an intermediate holding member 33 located at an intermediate position in the circumferential direction; flexible metal bands 35 and 36 that connect the first holding member 31, the intermediate holding member 33, and the second holding member 32 in a spaced state to each other in this order; and a fastening tool 37 for detachably coupling the first holding member 31 to the second holding member 32. The holding members 31, 32, and 33 include: joint holding parts 31a, 32a, and 33a that touch the circumference of the electric fusion joint 10; and pipe holding parts 31b, 32b, and 33b that touch the circumference of the resin pipe 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
