Abstract:
To provide an electric motor capable of improving detection accuracy of rotational speed.SOLUTION: An electric motor 1 includes: a stator 10 having a plurality of magnetic poles; a rotor 20 having a core 22 including a plurality of slots 24 including a rotation shaft 21 and a first slot and a winding coil 23 wound about the core 22; and a commutator 40 having a plurality of commutator segments 41. A winding coil 12 includes: a primary coil 23a wound about each of a plurality of teeth 22a, and a first crossover 23b1 and a second crossover 23b2. The number of a plurality of magnetic poles of the stator 10 is a multiple of 6. The number of the plurality of slots 24 of the rotor 20 is an even number. In the first slot, the first crossover 23b1 and the second crossover 23b2 have back electromotive force that is received from the stator 10 and whose direction is opposite to each other and being routed so that the back electromotive force is canceled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
