Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor roller bearing which is a non-contact type bearing and is protected from the invasion of foreign substances such as abrasion dusts of a brush, etc.
SOLUTION: Fluorine system grease which is composed of the mixture of fluorine oil and synthetic oil as base oil and fluorine resin as extender is employed as grease filling a space between a pair of shielding plates 14 and 14. The content of fluorine oil in the base oil is 60-98 vol.% and the content of synthetic oil in the base oil is 40-2 vol.%. As the fluidity of the grease is excellent, the grease fills gaps between the inner circumferential edges of the respective shielding plates 14 and 14 and the inner surfaces of the recesses 15 and 15. The invasion of foreign substances such as abrasion dusts of a brush into the grease filling the space between the pair of shielding plates 14 and 14 can be avoided.
