PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor and a motor with a speed reducer, capable of suppressing fluctuation in spike voltage and rotation torque more effectively.SOLUTION: In a 4-pole 6-slot 18-segment electric motor, U phase, -W phase, -W phase, V-phase, -U phase, -U phase, W phase, -V phase, -V phase coils are electrically connected in this order between respective adjacent non-equality segments 15 of 1st to 18th non-equality segments 15. Compared with a segment width in a circumferential direction of the 1st non-equality segment, each segment width of the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th non-equality segments 15 is set to be smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
