Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure capable of generating torque with a less quantity of magnets to be used by improving contribution to torque generation in a pole end shape in a brushless motor of a type of permanent magnets 210.SOLUTION: A brushless motor comprises a stator and a rotor of a type of the permanent magnets 210. The motor comprises the stator and the rotor which radially faces the stator with an air gap interposed therebetween. In the motor, the rotor includes: a core 200; the permanent magnet 210 supported by the core 200; and a soft magnetic pole material 220 disposed on a surface of the permanent magnet 210 closer to the stator. The soft magnetic pole material 220 includes: a stator-side pole material having an arcuate surface within a rotation plane at a side closer to the stator and being formed larger than a peripheral width of the permanent magnet 210; and a magnet-side pole material formed at a side closer to the permanent magnet 210 and formed smaller than a peripheral width of the stator-side pole material. In the stator-side pole material, a projection is included in a portion that is formed larger than the peripheral width of the magnet-side pole material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
