Abstract:
To provide an electric power steering device that improves responsiveness in changing a steering wheel direction and gives a good steering feel, with a simple structure.
The electric power steering device 100A includes: a housing 10 (column housing) which stores a steering shaft 3a (handle shaft); an elastic member 6 which is installed between the steering shaft 3a and the housing 10 and elastically deforms according to a rotation of the steering shaft 3a; and at least two bearings 3d and 3e which are installed in the housing 10 at intervals in an axial direction of the steering shaft 3a and abut to the steering shaft 3a. The elastic member 6 is installed between the two bearings 3d and 3e.
